I don't think it went away at all. He's scheduled for a bench trial in June, although there may be a plea deal before then. Obviously a calculated gamble on Self's part.

That's for the factfinder to sort out, in this case a judge. At the very least, a 17 year-old exercised poor judgment if the texts and images are genuine. At worst, he's a POS and doesn't deserve a second chance at KU. He at least deserves to present his case, as we've only seen his ex girlfriend's recitation of events.

KU lost another one of its 2023 high school recruits - that's two of their top three incoming high school kids who have asked out in the last few weeks. I haven't paid close attention - is this because of KU bringing in so many transfers?

I read the thread. You have to dig pretty hard to find trash like this, but yes, there are a couple bozos being misogynistic. That's not the general vibe, though.
