That article is 7 years old, so the guy was probably in the Christian school (assume it's a high school?) when he pulled the shenanigans with the New Zealand woman, then he went to KU.

Feel awful for the victim, first. Pretty embarrassing for the program, too. Self and the coaches deserve plenty of blowback on this. Shouldn't have recruited him in the first place. But they rolled the dice, and this is where we're at.
