Last night I happened to watch the Barbie movie. It's not a bad movie. The main point of the movie is Barbie can be anything she wants to be. Then this morning I watch the body cam footage and I see female cops running to the shooter and I think "cool police Barbie is getting it done" but then Police Barbie stops and freezes. She says to the other Police Barbie we need to go, but do they go....as rounds are going off? No, they wanted nothing to do with the gun fight. Don't get me wrong. Inflation falls at the feet of every single federal elected official for the last 40 years, but he's sped it up.

So how cheap is our post office?

Well, if you ship ground advantage they actually have a policy that prevents them from using their roll of packing tape sitting right there next to them since that is reserved for higher paying customers...and all I needed was a few inches worth! Instead, they will tape up your package and put the label (in my case a pre-paid return label) on with scotch tape...which probably cost them more than the packing tape.

The fact that they have trained their employees in this policy is just mind boggling...and probably cost them more than they are saving.
