Imagine getting this angry over a stupid survey

TAMU Survey - Embracing Emotion Over Logic and Truth (Gender Identity)
diddykong1211:18a
My wife ('15) and I ('12) received an email from Michael T. Stephenson '93, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Strategic Initiatives asking us to complete a survey relative to our academic experience while attending Texas A&M University.

This is an excerpt from the survey relating to the subject of this post:

What is your current gender identity?
Man
Woman
Trans man
Trans woman
Genderqueer/Gender non-conforming
Not listed above (please specify):
Prefer not to respond

The problem with this question is that logic and truth are disregarded. Rather, emotion is the deciding metric relative to how you currently "feel", not biological fact. Both my wife and I are troubled by this survey and the university's support of this perverse belief. As such, we believe it necessary to share with our fellow Aggies on TexAgs to generate awareness regarding our university's embrace of this misguided belief pertaining to gender identity. I have personally called the university to complain and hope this message might persuade others to do the same. This survey is representative of the degradation of our society and it is concerning to see our university embrace this illogical position.

Texas A&M University is a proud institution that once took pride in its counter-cultural stance with its foundation established on excellence, integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect and selfless service . We are doing those we come into contact with a disservice by not embracing truth. I hope others will see this as the slippery slope it most certainly is and care enough to fight against our university embracing false ideas pervasive in American culture today.

so a group of people know for communal masturbation into mason jars is concerned about gender identity issues leading to the "degradation" of soceity?

They wouldn't be comfortable masturbating with women communally.

Paper straws
Pelayo7:47a
Sorry but this deserves its own protest thread.

It's like trying to drink through a shoelace. Just wrong on the lips and the straw basically collapses. Gross.

I treat myself to one fountain coke a week when I go golfing with dad at the cc, the only sugar I ingest and look forward to. Ruined. Has to be a batter solution.

I did my part: pulled the lever for Warren (it feels so wrong). Hope the dropouts clear a path for her to get to 15 in Texas. Let chaos reign!

I want the best scenario for Trump to win in a landslide. I have been thinking about which clown to vote for to pave the way for that outcome. The dimtards in charge at the dnc are certainly thinking that way with buttegg and Kkklobuchar dropping out almost simultaneously and throwing their support to creepy joe. And what did they promise that pervert beeto to support biden?

Thread started about a woman arrested for handcuffing her son and whipping him with an extention cord devolves into a thread about how much aggies love to beat their children.

Cell Phone use and the Corona Virus
Gunny45611:03p
On our local news channel tonight they had a MD who worked for the NTSB on who stated that according to the United States Department of Transportation, that 1.6 Million auto accidents in 2018 were a direct result of cell phone usage while driving. These resulted in over half a million injuries and over 6000 DEATHS in that ONE year alone in the U.S.
His point was you stand a much greater risk of being killed tomorrow morning in a car wreck from someone texting than dieing from getting the Corona Virus OR a gun related violence.
If the media reported that as much as they do the virus, I guess everyone would panic and there would be no cars on the highway tomorrow! Just sayin.

So far the scariest thing I have seen.......
FCBlitz11:00p
Is the swift action for cancellation and shutdown of just about anything the government said to shutdown all in the name of public health.

I can finally see and understand how the government could in a short period of time confiscate guns from law abiding citizens.

The handcuffs are the part that's too far. As long as she's not hitting him in the face with the extension cord it's all good.

in a thread asking what have we learned from this whole coronavirus thing

Quote
I've learned that, despite the nonsense spouted by libs about human nature, the vast majority of people are selfish aholes.

Yet libs dream of a day where we all work and live in peaceful harmony under a socialist/communist system, where everyone pulls their weight and we share everything equally.

Quote
I've said for years that we are 24-48 hours from complete anarchy. And, yet, I haven't fully prepared for that scenario which is a stain on my conservative bonafides.

Quote
It furthers confirmed fo me that Democrats truly don't care about anything but power and control. They have severely damaged this country in an effort to get it back, and they did it without hesitation or reservation.

They cannot be trusted to run this country because they are elitists globalists that have motives and plans diametrically opposed to what is in the best interests of the United States.

Quote
I've learned that we can go full ****** almost instantly, and that it won't take an actual invasion to overthrow this country - all China or whomever has to do is create a virus, hype it the hell up, and we self implode trying to scramble to react to it because of over-sensitive media wanting clicks and the fact that we are a nation of complete idiots devoid of logical thought.

Quote
This whole ordeal also confirms that despite what the left wants you to believe, the federal government is not God and cannot solve every problem for us. It scares the leadership on the left to death because it exposes the heart of what they are selling to the public as a fraud.

I think this is partly why they have been screaming and whining about Trump's actions. If they can blame him for whatever real, perceived, or made-up shortcomings there have been in the federal response, their diety - big government - will remain pure and unassailable.

It also explains why they really hated Trump's speech yesterday and him bringing in the private sector to save the day. There is nothing they hate more than a good, capitalistic solution to a problem, especially when it exposes the incompetence of their favored socialistic one.

The swine flu pandemic in '09 was 10x worse, but we had a democratic president then, so the narrative from the media was much different. Long story short, this is f-ing BS. This is my opinion, we'll see.

Well this is just word for word from the first 10 minutes of Rush on Thursday.  He also blamed Obama for the lack of panic, which I found fascinating

Maybe I'm just premature it when I go to the store and see the amazing plethora of items available for purchase, I can't help but remember how incredibly prosperous the US is compared to 99% of the rest of the world. There's so much crap on the shelves to buy it's absurd. Even the poorest Americans are rich by the worlds standards yet Americans act like they're destitute if they don't have the latest cellphones, unlimited access to weed and medical care without waiting months for an appt.
