Wasn't multi-millionaire Socialist Bernie Sanders campaign guy in trouble or something?

Seems like a lot of FBI activity around the multi-millionaire Socialist Politician Bernie Sanders.

Swung by the rally today for about half an hour. Observations....
1. Got there just a few minutes past 1, after everyone had filtered inside. Not a single protester outside. Struck me as a little ironic. At a Trump rally there would have been all sorts of crazies outside. Here they all go inside and everyone else just kind of goes about their day.
2. Very little trash outside. Good job guys!
3. Talked to the vendor selling Bern swag outside for a few minutes. Made the standard lame joke about whether he was "feeling the Bern" in this 100 degree heat. I asked if he'd gotten some good business before the doors opened. He said "no, not a good money event." Eff'ng capitalist.
4. As I enter the lobby, I'm immediately approached by a dude with a petition gathering signatures to get Greg Orman on the ballot. I gladly signed. Brazen.
5. No line at security because most everyone was already at their seats. The event was 90% full - I'd guess maybe 4 or 5,000 for the auditorium?
6. Attendees were whiter and older than I expected. You could almost confuse them with the GOP rally except that this one swayed much more female, and I've never seen so many sandals and wire/horn-rim glasses in my life. Holy hipster.
7. Alexandria has crazy eyes. That is not a made up twitter thing. She looks like the hot girl in college that you kinda wanted to date but kinda suspected was a nut job. Also, I was expecting a Bronx / Puerto Rican accent. Nope - straight up flat Sandra Bullock.
8. Stayed for a few minutes of Sandra's speech. Very boring. Crowd seemed more excited about her just being her than in anything she had to say. Something about her 5th grade teacher being a native Kansas blah blah blah.
9. As I was leaving, I was approached by a guy working for Thompson's campaign. He wanted to know if I was with the Estes campaign. I said no - just came to see the show. He was kinda suspicious because he saw me sign the Orman petition (also, no sandels or hornrim glasses). Had a nice conversation with him. I remarked that it was an interesting choice bringing two far left candidates to a right-leaning district to stump for Thompson. He responded that nobody bats an eye when Estes brings far right candidates to stump for him. I responded well, yeah, but it's a right-leaning district. Anyway, wished him luck and headed back to work.

Wow, this is Hercules Mulligan level sleuthing! Thank you, brave patriot.

Actually there was a protester there.

Who?

I thought about setting up a table before the event asking for donations of toilet paper and bottled water for Venezuela, but I decided it was too risky just for a good laugh.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

He had on a t-shirt that said "Socialism Sucks". He was standing outside right in front of the doors. Maybe he got bored and left by the time you got there.

Is that how you think kook is spelled? :D

Btw, amazing reporting from my guy K-S-U-Dubz. 5/5 tacos.

It has gotten increasingly bad on both sides.  It's unfortunate.

Is your main complaint that she wants to redistribute your wealth?

Like that video montage, amiright? She's the new intellectual luminary of the left. I think her new nickname Occasional-Cortex is very unfair.

No, that video wasn't criticism. She makes herself look bad. The conservatives attacking her make her look good. I would vote for the socialist platform before I would vote for someone who views the platform on the below graphic as a bad thing.

It really is a shame that so many conservatives have already spent all their credibility defending our current president.  Now there are very few people I can take seriously who are currently being critical of the intelligence and experience of folks like  Ocasio-Cortez.

You can't be serious.

Medicare for All: Can't afford it. Even California scrapped their plans for universal healthcare when they got the cost estimates. And on top of the gobsmacking cost, the quality won't be Medicare For All. It will Medicaid For All, except even worse.

Housing as a Human Right: So again, completely asinine and unaffordable.

A Federal Jobs Guarantee: Yes, bloating our federal workforce with even more make-work jobs sounds like a wonderful idea.

Assault Weapons Ban: So ineffective and cosmetic that the last iteration was repealed on a bipartisan basis.

End Private Prisons? You mean the prisons that run far more efficiently than many state-run prisons?

Abolish ICE: Right, not enforcing borders is a great prescription for success, especially when you want to give everyone all the free crap listed here.

Solidarity with PR: Ok. I guess this means sending even more billions their way until they're less third world than before the hurricane hit.

Mobilizing Against Climate Change:  Climate change. Still talking about that. I wonder how Occasional-Cortex and the Bern recently hopped around Kansas for fundraisers?

Ugh enough
