I missed the post where I said trade wars are great and tariffs are awesome.

The $1 Trillion plus annual trade deficit with the world is sustainable and (specifically) vital in maintaining strategic production capacity in multiple industries . . . In whackadoo land.

I think the ag subsidies are a good thing, given the current circumstances, which were completely avoidable except that we have a moron declaring emergencies to raise tariffs and the majority of congress, who were elected based in part on not supporting tariffs, supporting the moron.
