Today is Wednesday.  So is it rail on Ag subsidies day, or extoll the virtues of Ag subsidies day?
Things dax loves

* Tarriffs
* Wars
* Adding to national debt via subsidies brought on by said tarriffs
* Ruining other country's economies

Lol, not true at all.

Come on, the New NeoCon complicity supports wars of aggression when their guy is in office and overly supports confrontation with countries if they think it’s going to hurt the guy they hate.

Let’s kill our strategic economy while ensuring our “partners” keep getting that cheap oil from the country they want us to protect them from.  50k US troops protecting Germany’s $400 Billion dollar investment in Russia aka Vlad Putin.

Let’s continue to let China kill our strategic economy while they finance (via their extremely artificial economy) a massive military buildup and strategic creep in the South China Sea and across the globe.

Glad to see you are able to flex outside of core Republican platforms when you think it's better for our economy. I don't personally agree that tarriffing is the best course of action here then follow up with subsidies to cover up for them....but not everybody has the same approach.

The folks against the temporary ag subsidies are the same folks working paycheck-every-two-weeks desk jobs that complain when their grocery bill gets too high.  :ROFL:

Perdue and other USDA officials say the aid will be available in three forms; direct payment to producers of soybeans, sorghum, wheat, cotton, dairy and hogs; government purchases of fruit, nuts, legumes, and some meats for distribution to food banks; and development of new export markets.

What's the general opinion on the government spending more funds on low-income food banks?

I'm just checking in to see if any shills are defending the 12 billion dollar ag bailout yet. Ok?

Cross post socialism thread.
Most farmers are white land owners so ok for the government to give them money. It's only socialism when you give money to minorities.

To help put the bailout in perspective, that's about 6400 tomahawk missiles.

Anyway to know what our deal was pre tariff and what our deal will be now?  If we got a better deal then hats off to trump, but this is basically as empty as the Korea stuff without details.

Some Chinese banks have received notice from regulators that a specific capital requirement will be eased in order to support lending, as the authorities try to mitigate increasing risks to the economy from the trade war.

Prediction : you will be told that even though it appears better it's actually worse bc conjecture and speculation, and many will choose to believe the speculation instead of reality bc libtarded

You deny the obvious and continuously misrepresent my position. Why would I engage in a debate with an obstinate liar?

you refuse to clarify or detail your position!  if you won't attempt to present your thoughts, you can hardly complain if you are misunderstood.

nonetheless, i may reengage with what i can devine from your statement later this morning.  dependent on how bored i am.

My position hasn't changed since you proposed the debate, so I don't think you have any right to be upset.
You're just mad bc you were wrong.

An amazingly swift resolution, in any event. Brought the EU to heel in a matter of months

AND stoked an NGL deal that hurts Russia

Care to offer a net impact on the dollar amount per year the US stands to gain from these deals?  Here is 2016 as baseline.

Quote
The United States had $686 billion in total (two ways) goods trade with the European Union during 2016, its largest Goods trade partner. Goods exports totaled $270 billion; Goods imports totaled $416 billion. The U.S. goods trade deficit with the EU was $147 billion in 2016.

The SysGurgler gets so mad.

It’s sad to think the total whackadoo’s like SysGurgler want a world where American guns protect those living off the fatted calf, and who pump nearly a half a Trillion dollars into the economy (and then some) of the country we protect them from.

All the while rolling out a military utterly devoid of the ability to protect their nation while the pride of ours stand ready to protect their fat bloated asses.

Sad
