Signs of getting old

When was the last time you really sprinted? Figured this goes more itt than the swole and fit cats one.

It’s been a tad over a year for me (a softball tournament), and even then not sure if I ever sprinted full out.

Pulled a hammy prob 10 years ago and have always been trepidatious since. Once pulled a calf just demonstrating starting out of a football stance for some flag footballers.

Don’t know if the running I do during pickup basketball could be considered a sprint… maybe a very aggressive hustle would be the way to describe it.

I think I get up to 3-4 strides of sprinting the last time I played. (been a long time because of a glute injury)

I've never had any back issues my entire life...until saturday.

I was leaning over a trash can scraping off a plate and suddenly my lower lower back is killing me.  Painful to walk around and bend over etc etc.

Any I going to Die? What the hell did I injure? The pain point is on my lower left side of the back where it meets my butt.

i think i pulled a muscle in my lower back at the gym in like February. from what i can tell the only way out is stretching constantly every day

Anecdotally, you probably have something in your back or hips out of alignment. The chiropractor is your friend in these types of situations. And if a trip to the chiro doesn't get ya straightened out then you can say eh that's quackery anyway and then feel completely justified going to the doctor and asking how many months you have left to live

left daughter's soccer game yesterday, couldn't find my phone, knew it was on me but couldn't for the life of me find it.  it was on the lawnchair seat, packed in the lawnchair bag on the back of my truck.

I do this often with phone, glasses, billfold. So infuriating... I misplace stuff without leaving the room sometimes.

I do this too. I'll even remember that I sat whatever it is down someplace weird or different, but can't remember where. I'll eventually find it and wonder why in the world I put it there of all places.

Hung my glasses on the collar of my hoodie last week while making coffee.  Cup in hand, then spent 5 minutes trying to find my glasses until my bride hugged me and pointed to my chest.  Looked down and found them!

Couldn't find our dog's poop sack holder when it was time for his walk the other day. Gave the kids a huge lecture about putting stuff back where you got it, etc, etc. Later, I found the missing item in my jacket pocket where I had left it.

Great news guys, I have progressively gotten better every day....From walking around like an old war veteran on Sat/Sun to now just feeling it being sore in the morning/when I've been sitting at my desk to long.
