My knees and back hurt when I get out of bed most days. Usually it's from not really doing anything the day before.

I enjoy sitting outside with no shirt on. Not exclusively old people things but the vibe is very old man imo.

I don’t know your level of fitness these days my friend, but going shirtless while in less than peak physical condition is indeed a power moved of the old man variety.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

My beard is now nearly entirely gray, as are many of my chest and neck hairs. Same with the hair on my temples. This has been a gradual process over the past 5-7 years.

Casual conversation while toweling the underside of the thigh, one foot perched atop a YMCA locker room bench incoming.

Every so often I fall asleep sitting upright in a chair (as in like, leg rest still perpendicular to the floor)

Guys I think I hate movie trailers. I just prefer to go in absolutely blind. Is that bad?

If I could avoid every trailer in the world I would. I get to a movie 20mins-30mins late in order to miss them. Sometimes I'll wait right inside the door of the theater until Nicole Kidman comes on screen before I take my seat.

I'm the same way.  I don't even enter the theater unless and until I'm confident Nicole Kidman is on the screen.

i think the biggest transition for me from being young to being old has been not fighting it when i'm sleepy. what a release. like it's 9:30pm and i don't care about this show or whatever as much as i care about how great it feels to fall asleep

I like them at the Screenland where they might introduce me to something weird/new but I don't need anything for the latest Marvel.  Although I did hear the new Marvel was literally insane.

The next step is when you retire and this starts happening at 2:30 pm
