On Saturday I had an hour long conversation with my dad about how it’s weird I’m almost 40. 2 days later I realized I’ve been 40 for 7 months.

This one seems to be on your dad.

My grandparents moved into a retirement community apartment. They go to the casino and come to all my kids games (unless the huskers are playing) but it was shocking to me when they sold the house and made the move. They are spry AF for being 88 and 92 but it shook me a bit. thinking about their age it shouldn’t have I guess. Don’t like to think about my folks being next in line.

Sounds like you're quite fortunate to still have living grandparents.

The Mrs. has been adamant about moving into a retirement community well before actually needing the extra level of care. Sounds like you got some smart grandparents.

Saw a commercial with what appeared to be underaged kids drinking at a party. I thought it was an anti-underage drinking commercial. Nope. It was a Crown Royal commercial. People in their 20s now look like 16 year olds to me.

I just trimmed my eyebrows with my beard trimmer. When I finished there was an alarming amount of hair in the sink

i was at the barber shop yesterday, i asked for my eyebrows to be trimmed.  they don't even ask about the ears, just go ahead and do a little touch up while they're at it

I used to go to a barber with one of those poles. He moved from Louisiana & I could understand about every other word. Gunsmoke or The Rifleman was always on the TV. He was a perfect barber.

I needed a haircut last weekend and also had a really bad toothache, so I went to my barber's shop for a cut and an extraction. Figured I'd also have him euthanize my sick horse while I was in town. And the wife went into labor while he was putting the horse down, so he just went ahead and delivered the baby, as well. One-stop shop kinda place.

There was a guy in Salina that ran a shop out of his house on Ohio street. Sold fishing lures too, I think his name was Jack which is a perfect Barber name. Had the little spinny thing outside the door too.  Was a great place for a cut.

1. Frank
2. Sweeney
3. Todd
4. Brutus

That’s just off the top of my head. Frank is not a pop culture reference I just think it’s a great name for a guy with a fetching mustache that is finnda cut my hair into one of those 5 styles shown on the poster by the door

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Constantly being surprised when a band will celebrate the 30th anniversary of an album. I'm always like, there's no way that was 30 years ago. It always is.

Silverchair released Frogstomp 30 years ago. They were 15 years old at the time.
