I get irrationally angry when my kids complain about their dinner being hot. food should be served hot.

idk if this is an old thing. i've always been like this and mrs mocat has always been indifferent about hot food temperature. infuriating.

I also like my cold drinks to be cold. No room temp la croix

please reheat yourself in a fire until you die from it (not really though, that's mean and over the top, but everything you just described is very gross, please know that)

Eating something cold leftovers is different. It's fine I guess, although I don't do it. Eating something made recently but allowed to cool for 15 min is problematic.

It tastes ok. Honestly, I'd rather eat it cold than reheated in a microwave because the skin gets kind of soggy in the microwave. Air fryer is the ideal.

Only time I like cold drinks is when it needs to be cold (ie summer time). Else I room temp water/flavored water and yes, even pop

Cold doesn't sit well with mouth/body unless I am my self very hot from being outside, and even them it can't be like, freezing cold.

Agree on food, anything that should be hot, should be hot. I cannot do even pizza cold,

My mom was an early adopter of the microwave oven and we ate many meals completely cooked in the microwave.  As a result, I only use the microwave for defrosting hamburger or heating water for tea.
