Where are my bad back people at? The worst, right?
Did you ever try yoga wacks
No and I need to. Just didn’t want to be in a room full of people these days. My back comes in waves. I’ll be good for like 3-4 months and then out of nowhere, it goes nuts. Bad week for it.

well that's why i said the part about "if you're not a runner or a swimmer" like yes, the total amount of time to swim a mile for an average non elite swimmer is probably around 30 minutes but there is a barrier to entry there in that you can't just go decide "guess i'll swim a mile lmao" b/c it takes a while to build up to it. just like most people can't just go run an 8 miler without being in some sort of running shape. i mean obvs there are exceptions. some people are just athletes that can do whatever they want but i'm guessing that doesn't apply to most of the bloggers on this blog

Swimming has the added boost of allowing thermodynamics to increase your caloric expenditure that the other two don’t

Swimming can really get you shredded, if you do it 4-5 times a week and eat decently healthy. Before the pandemic, I was getting in fighting shape. It slowed down because the closure of gyms, so I started the walk/run thing again. Swimming rocks.

Still in elite shape because I'm an obsessive crazy person but weird things are starting to hurt. Like my fingers hurt like hell at night when I settle down for sleepy time. Normally after doing pull-ups or band workouts during the day. Other stuff hurts now that i'm old, but I never expected my pinkies to start hurting.

Just saw some new uniform mockups and realized I couldn’t care less about alternative/new uniforms anymore. I know it’s good for recruiting & I’m not against it. Personally, I just don’t care.

eat a lot of gelatin or collagen supplements (at least 5 grams) and vitamin c. good for tendons and ligaments. take it like 15 min before running or doing leg workouts.

I’ve started wearing thermal long underwear most days, including under my jeans to work.

I have “tech neck” from zooming all the time.

Basically from between my shoulder blades to the base of my skull the muscles are all in a conniption fit.

Chiro has helped some, bought a “tens” machine and ice when it gets really bad. Super uncomfortable when it really flares up.

Really have to be aware of my posture when on the computer for sustained periods

I'd suggest working on your desk setup. Elevate monitors, use wireless keyboard and mouse with wrist pads, etc. Makes a huge difference.
