ESPN radio this morning with DL, and then Bobby Cremins (USCe Alum) singing Frank's praises on regional sports talk radio later in the day.No way Oscar ever gets this kind of play. Frank is the talk of college basketball. If oscar made the FF as a 7th seed or higher (which isn't going to happen), he would get plenty of play as well.

I listen when oscar speaks because it's generally incoherent and hilarious

if your basketball team is going to be gross, being gross with oscar is about as good as it gets

I don't like the purgatory oscar has placed most of us in.

I also didn't ever watch anyone but k-state so maybe I just had no calibration of what terrible was.
It's absolutely easier to make it to a Final Four than win a P5 Conference championship. You can get to a Final Four with a little luck and favorable matchups - not so with a regular season conference title.

Did oscar win the conference at Illinois when he did it?It's absolutely easier to make it to a Final Four than win a P5 Conference championship. You can get to a Final Four with a little luck and favorable matchups - not so with a regular season conference title.I should rephrase: It's easier for a non-elite team to make it to a Final Four. It could be more difficult for a school like Kentucky or Kansas or Villanova to make a Final Four than win a conference title. Because they have more to lose when luck is a factor.

Are you all just trying to marginalize what frank accomplished this year by chalking it up to luck and matchups?
i think that it's fair to say that usc can beat duke, baylor, and florida, but not kentucky
