we need to go fight NC State for Kevin Keatts, probs won't happen

Mrs. Keats ain't moving to Kansas, unless two Brinks trucks full of McScrouge gold is following the moving van.

I'm still really high on this guy. He is two wins away from winning the MWC after taking over a 9 win team in 2015.

CB McGrath would never take the KSU job in a million years, but this is the only name I have heard where I would actually really embrace the "entertainment value."

He himself, not just his program, has been sanctioned by the NCAA. He was suspended for five games, and barred from recruiting off of campus for a year. SMC got four years probation which is pretty long these days.

I don't want that many aussies on the team. I think it's residual anger about that one aussie baylor had that beat us.

I was wondering who was going to be the first person was going to be who knew the decision of our non-existent athletic director.

Laird will not fire a NCAA coach. No way.

Find me an example of any AD in the history of college athletics who within the first month of their job fired a basketball coach who made the NCAAT that same season, or an acting/interim AD who has fired a coach after making the tournament.

He has two years left on his contract, correct? Which means either the UP or the new AD will either need to fire him or extend him.

Did the fan base change their minds about Weber while we all half paid attention to this game? Will fans bring the DOOM back to the fOOD on Saturday based on tonight's win over a team who has averaged less than 3 conference wins a season?

I think people should prepare for what's coming though.

If oscar somehow wins the next 2 (Tech and BU/ISU/WVU) he likely goes dancing. Laird is not going to fire that and everyone knows it.

But he may lose to Tech at home.

Who knows?

The only way Laird is firing oscar is if the general tells him to, doesn't matter if he loses each of the next two by 50 each. The next athletic director will need to determine if he is worth extending.

Want oscar gone before we hire an AD? Cheer for him to win to make him more attractive to a mid-major suitor. There will be a lot of non P5 jobs open up between now and when we hire an AD.

I agree with that.
