It shouldn't be ignored that for either party to win they're going to have to appeal to a ton of idiots. Democrats used to do that by promising a bunch of free stuff without any regard to national debt, but now Republicans do that too.

All Democrats have at the moment is being compassionate to people and upholding the constitution, but most idiots don't really care that much about those things.

it has been abundantly clear that they want quite the opposite of that. throw that in with a "we the people t shirt" and you have MAGA. Dems are never going to get those votes no matter how hard they try. They have to figure out how to get the Dems that sit at home on election day to the polls. Seeing the crap show last time didn't get them to the polls to stop it again, so I have no idea what will do it.

Having a president as shitty as trump was an incredibly effective means of getting Dems to the polls in 2020. Unfortunately all the idiots that turned out in 2020 fell back into their ambivalent ways in 24.

That was the remarkable thing about 2020. It wasn’t how badly trump got slaughtered it was the level of participation. It’s why pubs want to throw up as many hurdles as humanly possible to keep people from showing up to vote. They know that if We The People choose to participate that Dems are going to destroy ev-er-y time. Keeping people from voting is pubs only hope

Pubs’ hope and success story was fracturing dems and turning them on each other as to what type of dem is acceptable. See the last page for disagreement on which character of newsom is a tolerable alternative to trump.

Break up the united states?

east/west or north/south?

Normal/maga/socialist-maga. There’ll have to be some relocating or creative geography.

Oooh, 3 Americas. Good plan. The two MAGAs will try and plan things to go after the normals when they immediately run out of money,  but they will end up shooting each other and their own dicks way before they make it to us.

Except that 2024 was the 2nd highest voter turnout percentage in at least 50 years.

Maybe he used this tactic on Putin.

Quote
For many years, Trump has expressed curiosity about nuclear weapons. In 1984, still in his thirties, he told the Washington Post that he wanted to negotiate nuclear treaties with the Soviets. “It would take an hour and a half to learn everything there is to learn about missiles,” he said. “I think I know most of it anyway.” According to oscar G. Blair, a research scholar at the Program on Science and Global Security, at Princeton, Trump encountered a U.S. nuclear-arms negotiator at a reception in 1990 and offered advice on how to cut a “terrific” deal with a Soviet counterpart. Trump told him to arrive late, stand over the Soviet negotiator, stick his finger in his chest, and say, “eff you!”

Trump: "Vladimir Putin said something- one of the most interesting things. He said 'your election was rigged because you have mail in voting. It's impossible to have mail in voting & have honest elections.' He said that to me because we talked about 2020. He said, 'you won that election by so much'"

Vlad is totally someone we should be quoting regarding election integrity.

Does anyone know if Don always does the submissive palm up handshake position? I would imagine - what with his super sensitive/easily bruised hand muscles that he doesn’t have the grip strength and doesn’t even bother trying to take the dominant position

Documents with sensitive details about the meeting between President Trump and Russian President Putin were left behind on a public hotel printer.

What a bunch of flexes yesterday - repeated 6 to midnight moments for #neocongE (which I am sure they fought enjoying because they’re hyper partisan SFB’s)

Anything short of global thermonuclear war is a “collapse” by armchair neocon/#neocongE definition.  These are the same people who want to import brown people to then go kill other brown people so Ethan  and Nathan can play Xbox all day at the Delt house at (insert middling but cool kid public university here).

We’re all paying the price because of their lashing out and internal guilt over being lead around by the nose by Russian intelligence.
