Dax:  You should totally be allowed to have business interests while having huge ability and incentives to funnel money to those businesses.

Dax: It is a joke that Nancy can do what she and her husband have done!  :shakesfist:

I didn't say it was a joke what Nancy has done . . . I am making fun of the fact that #blueanon is praising that Nancy is onboard with this, and at this point that's utterly meaningless.  How much longer is Rep OxyGin going to be around?

They got that bread . . .

Regardless, your stance, stances, lack of a stance, return to previous stances, deflection away from stances, obfuscation of stances, ignoring your maintenance of a stance to take another stance without having to reconcile, etc are a rough ridin' joke.

Dax: regardless of my take being nearly 100% a rough ridin' joke, that is not at all applicable here, where it is a rough ridin' joke.

The bill as it’s written now would almost certainly prevent a private business person with ownership stake in a midsize company or above from running for office unless they divest their ownership stake.

#blueanon does prefer their lifetime political grifters . .

Back to this, why exactly does it matter if the person sitting in congress is a private business person? All of them just vote for what they are told to, anyway. Literally anyone can do their jobs.

They can still have their money invested, it just has to be a blind trust. The only reason you would vote against this is you are planning to use your insider info to place trades before knowledge becomes public.

“On June 15, 1992, [Dan] Quayle altered 12-year-old student William Figueroa's correct spelling of "potato" to "potatoe" at the Muñoz Rivera Elementary School spelling bee in Trenton, New Jersey. He was the subject of widespread ridicule for his error.” — @wikipedia.org

Trump: You know, we've cut drug prices by 1200, 1300, 1400, 1,500%. I don't mean 50%. I mean 1400, 1,500%

Along with my US based banana factory, I’ve decided to also start buying drugs that give you 15 times what you paid for them back. I’m going to be a trillionaire.

Will Trump make it thru term? Nearly 3.5 years is a lot of time.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Maybe, maybe not!

How many people had to help him get up there/were asked not to stop him from going up there? And what did he tell them to convince him to let him walk on the roof? Or was his explanation so riddled with dementia that no one understood it anyway?

Prob just an easily explainable error that a couple of "random" sections from the Constitution were deleted from the library of congress website. Especially this section: LOL

"The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it," it says. Other deletions included a provision allowing the slave trade to continue until 1808, a prohibition on bills of attainder, and several provisions detailing powers denied to states.
