How far can this piece of crap go before his policies don't matter to conservatives?  How much of someone's individual rights are conservatives ok with others losing?  To me, this is definitely a point where anyone who is a good person will have a problem.  Realistically, we crossed that point for me a while back.  However, this is blatant and in his own dipshit words.  It's undeniable.  He is a shitty president and those who are ok with this are shitty Americans and shitty people.

Well CNS, the "homegrowns are next" thread on texags was locked as soon as it was posted, so I think you have your answer.

Separate from immigrants but the students they're deporting are equally ridiculous. They just haven't been sent to a gulag. This guy. The Tufts student. Apparently another for an expunged DUI.

"To be antisemitic is unjust. The fight for the freedom of Palestine and the fight against antisemitism go hand in hand because injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

How's this guy a threat?

Although not a huge surprise, the lack of blowback for the “homegrown” bombshell confirms that a very large proportion of Trump voters were/are more accurately described as BID than MAGA.

The total absence of "what goes around, comes around" thinking by the GOP in general and MAGA specifically reveals they don't plan to allow a "comes around." Mass deportations to third-world Gulags is all part of the plan.

In their minds, this is the comes around part. They have been victims their entire lives and this is the revenge.

It's not new information, Pam bondi confirmed they were looking into the legal avenues of holding citizens in El Salvador like two weeks ago.

Incredible past month for the Regime: Signal-crime, utterly shambolic rollout of tariffs, escalated killing of Ukrainians by Trump's buddies in the Kremlin, licking the boots of Central American dictators in the Oval Office, plans for sending US citizens to dungeons in the third world. Feels like we are really winning like never before.

And the ongoing undermining of thee functionality of the federal government, the wholesale assault on science and research, putting big law under the admin's thumb, and the ever-present grifting.

Just incredibly cynical and lawless:

Quote
El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele said Monday that he would not return Kilmar Abrego Garcia—an immigrant who was deported to an El Salvador prison due to an “administrative error” last month—to the United States. “How can I return him to the United States? Like if I smuggle him into the United States?” Bukele said during an Oval Office visit, claiming that he had “no power” to return Garcia, who is a Salvadoran national. The Supreme Court upheld a lower court ruling requiring the U.S. government to “facilitate” Abrego Garcia’s return last week, but the Trump administration has argued the decision over whether to expatriate the detainee lies with El Salvador.

I'm sure the pressure Trump is putting on the "coolest dictator in the world"will make him come around. Meanwhile, DHS honcho is on FOX blatantly lying about the guy by claiming he's a gang member and not a court-recognized fugitive from a two-bit brutal regime. eff Trump and eff MAGA.

The biggest, toughest, meanest, take-no-bullshit-from-anyone president of all time is totally powerless in this situation.

"We know that they are lying, they know that they are lying, they even know that we know they are lying, we also know that they know we know they are lying too, they of course know that we certainly know they know we know they are lying too as well, but they are still lying."

We sealed teamed sixed Bin Laden, we can extract someone from a prison, if we absolutely had to, which we shouldn't have to. It's called diplomacy and working with them to get this guy out.

This goes against Law #2 of Trump: There is no action he can take that will alienate his base, no matter how much it contradicts prior statements or goes against the actual interests of the base.

Before that we could, like, not pay them millions of dollars for operating the jails like we’re currently doing. I’m just spitballing here.

In all seriousness, I think performative cruelty that the base can rub one out to is the entire point of this el salvador stuff.

Oh for sure, more pointing on (on both accounts) being powerless is really being feckless
