#blueanongE rage factor: 12/7 - Normal

You're definitely underselling my rage factor. It's hard for me not to put something on the internet that won't have g men knocking on my door.

The President of the United States of America took time out of a press conference about a mid air collision, of which 100% of both cockpits were white men, to use that time to further demonize minorities, women, and the LGBTQ community, for literally no real conceivable reason at all, even he said it was pilot error.

He decided to go with all the isms, while bodies were literally being pulled out of the Potomac. Yeah, I'm really pissed off about all of this, pretty telling that you aren't.

It was the wrong place to bring it up.

But what's happened with the FAA and specifically ATC since just after the Obama admin started is absolute bullshit and everyone with a single brain cell knows it.

Even a "go to" #blueanon hyper apologist staple outlet has excoriated FAA-ATC for the past 2 years.

Its no place for a bunch of rough ridin' mids and I DGAF what color their skin is . . . you're playing with peoples lives over virtue signaling bullshit.

That's why there's still a class action lawsuit out there . . . we had the best system in the world for training people to do a highly stressful - complex job that involves the lives of thousands upon thousands of people every moment of every day in these United States, and they mumped it all up.

If it’s been a problem, why did Trump take it further instead of resolving it day one along with all the other priorities?

It's been a problem for a long time.

You had your boy in the White House for 4 years . . . and they just compounded a known problem.

The Sec of Transportation had been on the job less than 24 hours.

Everything I've read seems to indicate the Blackhawk got plenty of warning from ATC and just didn't comply. Were also flying above approved ceiling for helo traffic.

Most likely was looking at another plane thinking it was the one they were warned about from what I’ve read. Need more oversight of this crap. Why you’d even be flying near there is beyond me.

if a pilot makes a mistake or ignores a warning i think its pretty obvious the failure is systemic going back several administrations. (except for the years 2017-2021 where everything was perfect, what changed?)

The pandemic does or doesn't exist in the #blueanon mind depending on the partisan political point they're trying to make.

Some days the pandemic was the worst period ever . . . and other days - it never happened. It's amazing to watch this phenomenon

Trump is pretty clearly a clinical narcissist so I don’t have that much trouble just writing off anything he says.

But the people who abandon all decency and common sense to (1) vote that person into the presidency, and (2) go along with crap like this, do live rent free in my head a bit.

Imagine thinking you're being a decent person voting for someone who has help faciliate the deaths of hundreds of thosuands if not milllions of people across the globe.

Then (one example) seeing that person pardon thousands of people who were in most cases caught up in his racist incarceration nation mandates . . . that he championed . . . and not calling him out for being a hypocrite POS

Yeah this is the conclusion I've come to as well. Blackhawk was granted and acknowledged visual separation from plane in the area but they were looking at a different plane. Reddit airplane nerds say visual separation is SOP, which seems crazy to non airplane nerds.
Also there are tons of helicopters flying all over the place in that area all the time and it was just a matter of time.
It's also true that ATC was understaffed that night, but unclear what if anything they would have done differently.

For those with an ounce of situational awareness . . . it's always been an angst creating place to fly in and out of.

Yeah, only flown in that area once, it's wild the flight path in, and that was in 2009. It does seem like simple and clearly unfortunate pilot error on the blackhawk crew. I could envision how he genuinely thought he was in the clear if he made visual with what we thought was the plane. Def going to need to super restrict ceilings, and then probably some amount of clearances (like force the helicopter to hold until the path is clear) is what will be needed. But I defer to the FAA on it. First major incident in the US in 16 years, and preventable. They will definitely learn from this. And while the understaffed ATC is still a problem to fix, not really sure given everything we know they could've done differently, in this case.

Also brother's friend he knew since kindergarten and went to HS together was on the flight. Sucks a lot, great family.

When I was like 23 years old I was on one of my first “work trips” and got delayed like 3 hours at Reagan on my way home. Drank like 15 Sam Adam’s winter lagers. My rural/KSU upbringing had me in awe of looking at the pentagon from my crystal city crappy doubletree. Airport is confirmed absolute dogshit.

I'm sure the ATC folks are built way different than normal folk but no way I could get my crap together enough to work at that airport again if it was me.

So this event was most likely pilot error and not the result of partisan politics allowing one armed African American epileptic dwarfs to lead people to their slaughter?

that actually makes sense

Remember the $50 million condom bombs?

Well, you’re never going to believe this…

https://www.thetimes.com/us/news-today/article/50-million-condoms-for-gaza-fact-check-x87wbv25m

Speaking of defense contractors capable of cutting costs I hope Trump can figure out how Hamas used the $50 million in condoms they never received to build bombs! Think of the cost savings if we can scale!

No big deal - just keep spraying (or preventing the spraying) money all across the globe.

Nobody needs it here.

FYI-$50 million closes the full funding gap for multiple integral projects at our Kansas State University.  Projects that will ultimately help our state and nation to produce more food.  But the Foundation is just gonna have to go out find that final $50 million from the deep pockets of K-State alums.

I also think $50 million will cover the full funding gap for a great infrastructure project in Kansas City, MO - jobs, jobs, jobs - suppliers and jobs

JFC. Is it going to be like this every single day for four years? Can you rough ridin' imagine conservative media or any media for that matter if this was reversed? Going after the media and now law enforcement over things you don't like seems very very familiar.

Yes Dax, I know super wizard and also completely idiot old man Joe Serial Killer Pedo Red Light Runner Biden already did all of this stuff but way way worser with his magic laptop that he is too old and too stupid to use, but still smartly uses to subvert any and all laws or allegations against him.

Regardless, this is mumped either way.

They pursued J6'ers, some of whom never even set foot in the building and others who just walked through like they were serial killers.

Frankly, I'd be a little embarrassed if I were some of those FBI people, particularly now that we know the touted crime numbers were all cooked and massively under reported.
