He really should call Chris Christie and tell him that he's going to get one tomorrow, then stand him up to go golfing instead.

Politics aside Toby Keith getting a medal for his art is incredibly funny

If Toby Keith's music (outside of "Shoulda Been a Cowboy" which is one of the best C&W songs, OAT) qualifies as art, what else could be considered art?

I don't think anyone else is shameless enough to make MAGA work the way Trump did. Ted Cruz might be able to morph himself into that, but he's not there yet.

That's a good one. A lot of media types probably could pull it off. Hannity and Candace Owens could also make solid runs.

I would gain a nice measure of respect

A lot of good country music for tractor-driving was made in the mid 1990s. Would drag that disc around and around those terraces listening to KY Country 94 (93.7, just round up).

I had a lot of late evening tractor driving sessions where I'd absolutely wail these.

Trump has instructed aides not to pay Giuliani’s legal fees, two officials said, and has demanded that he personally approve any reimbursements for the expenses Giuliani incurred while traveling on the president’s behalf to challenge election results in key states. They said Trump has privately expressed concern with some of Giuliani’s moves and did not appreciate a demand from Giuliani for $20,000 a day in fees for his work attempting to overturn the election.

I had just assumed Rudy was working for free. It's amazing to me that he would have the nerve to actually charge for his services.

He was.  He just didn't know it.  Like every single person or business who extends credit to trump.  If you do anything without cash or a retainer it's for free.
