There is one conspiracy that Weinberger, HW Bush et. al. were pissed that Ron re-built the military and then didn't want to use it on anything.

And John Lennon with that rough ridin' "Give peace a chance" crap.  had to die, all of them.

(but seriously, how pathetically loony is trump now?)

I just feel that like dax he has become more desperate and out of touch with reality.  I don't have a ton of evidence for that though.

In 2016 he literally said Ted cruz's dad killed jfk. Before that (dax trigger warning) trump was the leading figure of the birther movement.

Trump's picture is in the dictionary under "pathetically loony"

I always assumed that was political schtick for his loony southern base.

I have always assumed this as well.  However, after the last month or so, I feel like he is just a rough ridin' loon and it just so happens to get the GOP base super happy too.  I think way too much credit has been given to him as some sort of master manipulator.  I think he is just someone's crazy uncle and several million people just happen to think that is the right direct for our country.

I'm not following this in the news, but it seems weird that there's a pro Trump lawsuit in Texas given that Trump won Texas. Is the idea that they want to get a case with broader ramifications than Texas to be heard by "Trump's judges" at the Supreme Court?

For a long time, I had him confused with Hugh Hewitt because they have the same kind of dumb ass names.

I think having a state request the relief is the only way to get it straight to the Supreme Court. Other than that, there’s really no connection to Texas.

AG's office does what they want. Schmidt clearly knows this is going nowhere but will be very helpful with the MAGA's when he runs for Governor in a few years.
