Imagine how inept you have to be to lose Lyndsey Graham support

It is interesting to see what gets Lyndsey riled up and what is no big deal.

Even in light of being given and getting approved a $750 billion dollar defense budget, the national security state just can't let go of any little thing any where.

Graham and even Hillary (who keeps injecting herself) never bother to bring up exactly why the ISIS caliphate was able to expand and take over so much of Syria at one time . . . that was of course Hillary, Leon and Barry's brilliant strategy to get involved in the Syrian civil war to try and overthrow one of the few predominately secular governments left in the Middle East, thus creating a power vacuum over much of Syria.   As the NYT's reported back in the day, the U.S. supported the absolute worst of the worst in "Freedom Fighters" while the U.S. shipped in "recruits" and former Libyan military arms (at one time the DOD's  backed guys were fighting the CIA's backed guys, but that's another story for another day).

If LibBot Nation (who is for anything as long as it's anti-Trump) was true to their Anti-Russian selves (you're not, that was just one of many narratives to try and bring Trump down) then you should be fist pumping your ass off because this move likely swings Turkey back into the NATO/US sphere and away from Russia (of course you've got some LibBot former State Department cubicle dwellers now trying to claim that Turkey was never really NATO  ).

The combo of being very stupid and very subservient is not a good one

Steve, can you ask Brendan what his stance was when U.S. policy towards Syria during the previous administration all but assured that the Russians would get directly involved in saving their Ally.

TIA, friend.

A) I don’t know him personally Dax
B) He’s quoting Brett, Trumps former envoy, so he’s probably the guy to direct your question to (I don’t know him either)

It's pretty  to watch these guys melting down now, when I don't recall any such talk during the previous administration, whose policies towards Syria were absolutely tragic and essentially cemented the reality that the Russians would get directly involved.

0/10

That of course is not the point.   The previous administration's policy towards Syria was an unmitigated disaster, but as we know, LibBot Nation doesn't care . . . doesn't care how many people got killed, doesn't care about how many people got Refugee'd, doesn't care that it green lighted the Russians (on top of the Iranians) to enter into the complex.   All LibBot Nation knows now is that Trump wants to disentangle the U.S. from at least one part of the forever war, and that has to be bad.

That’s something that Stalin or Kim would say.  Totalitarian at its absolute core.

Imagine what it would take for a GOP president to lose Pat Robertson and the Mandate of Heaven. If you guessed caging small children, partying with Jeff Epstein,  or paying off a pornstar after cheating on your third wife with her you’d be wrong.

I bet Republicans would be way more worried about Central American women and children if defense money was at stake. :frown:

The fact that we have LibBots losing their mind over the U.S. military leaving a country they never should have been in the first place is absolutely amazing to me.  I'm not at all surprised by Graham because he's essentially John McCain Jr.
