The Trump Presidency

Congrats to Joe Biden for getting what will likely prove to be the largest circling of the wagons in LibBot History.   A party literally willing to go to impeachment in order to protect their front runners corruption.

SMDH, stunning, yet not surprising.

Why do you think WH was withholding aid to Ukraine?

Witholding?  They gave them even more money.

The White House withheld the approved aid and I'm curious as to why you think that was.  You are not answering the question.

Corruption, unless you think there's no corruption in the Ukraine . . . why was your guy worried about corruption in the Ukraine?  Remember, Joe Biden withheld aid because he claimed the prosecutor was corrupt (and investigating his son).

BTW, the money was sent.

So the WH unilaterally withheld aid because they sniffed corruption in Ukraine, and later released it because _____________.

Unilaterally?

Or until the new defense appropriation bill was approved?

I mean, I guess it's kind of like withholding aid because your son who works for a mega corrupt corporation is being investigated . . .

I love the government, hey the Pentagon says that the Ukraine is making progress on corruption so release the money . . . in the same report, "there remain areas that require significant attention” , but in partisan LibBot world, that means everything is okay (and they may not investigate the front runners son anymore), so release the money.

So you’re saying Trump was just waiting for the defense appropriations bill to be approved?

Among many things.

It's just weird, but not surprising that LibBot Nation fully supports a sitting VP unilaterally withholding aid because he's all  :curse: that a prosecutor is investigating his son who works for a corporation that only exists on paper.   But then the same people lose their mind because they interpret the president withholding aid unilaterally . . . when the Pentagon had just spent months investigating corruption in the Ukraine and openly stated on the report there were still significant issues (like fake corrupt corporations, Burisma for example, paying off Ukrainian politicians).

The corrupt know corruption

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-whistleblower-ukraine-idUSKBN1WD0PK

Azarov lives in Moscow, but says he remains well-connected with parts of Ukraine’s political establishment and would like to return one day. He did not provide further details.

Azarov, who was prime minister from 2010-2014, is himself wanted by Ukrainian authorities for alleged abuse of power. An Interpol red notice issued in 2015 at the request of Ukrainian authorities said he was wanted on accusations of charges including embezzlement and misappropriation.

Azarov denies any wrongdoing and Reuters cannot determine whether there is any active investigation on him.

Azarov said he was not aware of any evidence suggesting wrongdoing on Hunter Biden’s part, but said it was in the Ukrainian public interest to ascertain the legality of his activities.

'crats are jumping to Trump needs impeached because he wanted Ukraine to investigate his political opponent.  I look at it more as Trump wanting political corruption looked into and its coincidental that the subject is running for President.  This is a significant difference.

Nope.  But you sure are good at telling me what I've already read.

You can start by just admitting that Joe Biden is extremely corrupt and he tried to use the power of his office to thwart an investigation of his son who worked for a very dubious foreign political enterprise.

Everything I am reading says the investigation related to a time period a couple of years before Biden's son became a board member.
