Pretty lol that the Trump presidency thread always reverts back to something about Obama or Hillary.  Pretty amazing actually.

You literally say the same thing every time.

We have massive problems in the Middle East and the disaster in Syria precisely because of Obama and Hillary.

Careful

One day you'll actually own the disaster that Obama and Hillary created in the Middle East.

Millions dead, millions of refugees and still won't accept responsibility.
   :comehere:

You think it's funny which is really sad.

Look, I've destroyed every one of your poorly thought out talking points tonight.

Take a lap, hit the showers and try again tomorrow.

One of the U.S. best allies is Israel. Trump just sold them out to a country who he is being investigated for being in cahoots with him. He shared intelligence with a country whose biggest ally wants to wipe Israel off the map. This will make countries think twice about sharing intelligence with the U.S. and as a result make us more vulnerable to terrorist attacks.

Hillz and Obama created the disaster in the Middle East?  No. In 20/20 hindsight there may have been a better outcome in Syria, but they can't be blamed for that mess. That's all on GW.

Lol, Syria is about 10x the disaster Iraq ever was.  The power vacuum created by the destabilization of the Assad regime and the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq has done nearly irreparable damage.  Not only with ISIS, but also with Turkey and the Kurds.

The attempt to overthrow Assad was the line in the sand for Russia and only served to embolden Iran to double down in its support of Assad and Hezbollah. Couple that with wrecking Libya and then using that country as a recruiting ground and arms depot for Syria "rebels" while ceding the country to AQ and ISIS has only exasperated the situation.

We now have ISIS in Syria, Iraq and Libya.  We now have AQ, AQAP, and AQNA while Obama claimed we were rolling them back. Which was a complete and total lie.

I won't even touch the refugee situation.

Are you proposing that voting for a president that won means we, personally, need to own up to their mistakes?

Does voting for a president that made mistakes prohibit one from being critical of another president?

The idea that politics are some sort of us vs. them thing, as if it were a war, is vexing and tiring.

It's pretty disingenuous to ignore the ginormous foreign policy fuckups of the obama regime, then cry impeachment over some inconsequential disclosure of information.

To clarify, the US had no "massive problems in the Middle East" before Obama?

Yeah I'm pretty sure that little flub isn't why DJT is about to be impeached.

Hundreds of thousands of civilians were killed before Barack and Hillz were in charge. Let's blame them though. Let's blame them for not cleaning up that mess perfectly. No one could walk out of there with clean hands.

Drainin' the swamp

Quote
The Trump administration, in a significant escalation of its clash with the government’s top ethics watchdog, has moved to block an effort to disclose any ethics waivers granted to former lobbyists who now work in the White House or federal agencies.

The latest conflict came in recent days when the White House, in a highly unusual move, sent a letter to Walter M. Shaub Jr., the head of the Office of Government Ethics, asking him to withdraw a request he had sent to every federal agency for copies of the waivers. In the letter, the administration challenged his legal authority to demand the information.

Dozens of former lobbyists and industry lawyers are working in the Trump administration, which has hired them at a much higher rate than the previous administration. Keeping the waivers confidential would make it impossible to know whether any such officials are violating federal ethics rules or have been given a pass to ignore them.

Well, there goes the alt-right vote. They're going to be all over him on 4chan for doing Jewish things.

But seriously, that's probably the only smart/good gesture he's done so far.
