You might not think that this discussion is appropriate for a thread titled "The Trump Presidency." But you would be wrong to do so. It is extremely fitting.
It started with me being a bit surprised that my guy Kanye wants to hang with Trump, because he's never really been a fan of conservatives in the past. It's even more bizarre after he made a video of a Trump look a like in his orgy. I just think my guy Kanye needs the right meds right now.

trump isn't conservative, so Kayne is pretty much in character

Good point. He's conservative-ish. He's honestly just playing a character. He was like democrat 10 years ago.

Kinda sad MIR never followed up with this, I've tried to be civil these days, but I guess He's a better man than me and walks away when he knows when he's wrong. :frown:

Relax wacks, I just didn't open the thread the last couple of days, my life doesn't revolve around the pit. I would answer this but it looks as if it has been handled. There is one Kanye song that mentions "George Bush" though it is unclear which George He is referring to, probably both. Its one of my favorite songs, actually.

Gonna lock us up in "Audy Home"

They wanna pack us all in a box like styrofoam
Who gave Saddam anthrax?
George Bush got the answers
Back in the hood it's a different type of chemical,
Am and Hammer baking soda

There it is, crack music  :emawkid:

I mean, I found other songs where he throws Bush's name out there, but it's not always negative.

Quote
They yellin' Chef, kill the plate with the cooks
I say 'Ye with 2 Chainz on, we Common, let's Push
Burn another bush, then burn another we brothers
Love us or not, the Mark Zuckerbergs of the block
Hug a knot, staying rich, we was built for the guap
Park the green six deuce on the deuce just props
Rock a kilt, mean Glock I'm all machinery, 'ock
Cling to me, now see how the scenery rock yo

Quote
I'm scooby, I know I'm dumb
It could get fuckin' old, well it's good I'm young
'Fore my heart get cold as the hood I'm from
Tell me what it take to be number one?
I guess it's gon' be what it's gon' be
But here's one thing ya'll got to hear
I'mma tell you like George Bush told me,
eff ya'll niggas, I'm out of here

I think burning a bush is a biblical reference. From the book of Exodus.

That he creates an environment where struggling Americans get higher paying jobs and thrive.

Biggest concern is that establishment (bought off) politicians from both sides stand in his way.

What are Trump fans biggest hope for the next four years? Not really a fan, although he's growing on me, but if he can get that tax reform through I'd have a lot more money, so that.

Biggest concern? Racist obstructionist democrats doing racist obstructionist things that derail civil discourse and practical governance.

I'm hoping he can re-invigorate the klan to its former strength, get some wrongs righted with law re guarding rental properties.  I'd like to see a woman's role in America scaled back.  Obviously I hope he does something about un-assimilating Muslim areas like Dearborn Mi.  But the big two for me are overturning Rowe v. Wade and getting WWIII started.

My concern is that the left will have him impeached or something, they are already onto him and Putin's shenanigans.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Just off the top of my head....

Biggest hopes, in order of confidence it will actually happen:
1. Be an unabashed promoter of American Exceptionalism and cheerleader for the US, economic surge
2. Replace Scalia and at least one liberal justice with Scalia clones, appoint conservatives to federal courts
3. Undo Obama executive orders (might be easiest to just wipe the slate clean)
4. Scrap Obamacare
5. De-politicize enforcement of federal law (Jeff Sessions!)
6. De-regulate and de-subsidize domestic energy production
7. Significantly reduce illegal immigration
8. De-politicize the IRS
9. Withdraw from climate pacts
10. Disband or at least dramatically diminish the mandate of EPA, Education, HUD, and various other federal agencies.
11. Defund Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers
12. Simplify tax code, maybe even reduce tax burden on HENRY's like me
13. Reduce spending

Biggest fears:
1. Assassination
2. Major terrorist attack, scuttling domestic agenda
3. Rely too heavily on executive orders, like Obama, because the GOP legislature can't get its act together
4. Bungle the repeal and replacement of Obamacare, because the GOP can't get its act together
5. A $1 trillion infrastructure bill and other wasteful spending that continues massive deficits
6. Waste way too much money building a wall instead of simply enforcing federal immigration law
7. Cabinet and agency appointments are overwhelmed by the bureaucracy, little meaningful reform
