I guess I just figured all of Trump’s appeal came from people who want to keep America white, people who are obsessed with Obama/Clintons, and people who want to say eff you rest of the world. Not sure how any of that appeals to other countries.

It's almost like you forgot the previous two presidents overthrew two sovereign nations and attempted to overthrow a third while green lighting the Saudi's to begin their onslaught on Yemen and attempting to install the Muslim Brotherhood into power in Egypt while dropping off pallets of cash on the tarmac in Tehran.

Nothing says "eff the world" like bombing 7 countries at the same time while signing off on the largest Nuclear Weapons program in world history while getting caught tapping the phones of 35 world leaders.
