At school I always eat school lunch when its CFS day and I always say to the lunch ladies "A la Mode please" which means that I want my perfectly round ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes and brown gravy on top of my CFS.

What an amazing #ack

The absolute best CFS I have ever had was from Texas Star (RIP).

Absolutely, so good. Wasn't as big as Grizzlies but thicker ava amazingly tasty. Texas Star was a Manhattan treasure.
Yes.  TS was fantastic!  Schreds' dad's favorite place to eat when he and Schreds' mom would come to visit.

yup, texas star's chicken fried steak was the best.  they also had great tater tots and pretty good burgers
that place was fantastic.. I miss it

sad that millennials couldn't support the business to keep it alive

How has Nelson's Landing not been mentioned yet? Best CFS in the history of the galaxy.

Nice try TimJordysock, not falling for that one...

You like CFS, but not CFC? How can that be?

This may come as a shock to some pit posters, but I don't like chicken at all. It's bland enough that it can work in some things like tacos but its the most inferior of meats.

Definitely one of the better USD 345 lunch days. They abolished cartons and moved on to little plastic bottles of milk sometime when I was in junior high.

If you come to KC, Strouds or RC's is really, really delicious.

My wife usually doesn't like meat, especially fried meat, but she will devour RC's.

CFS was my favorite school lunch. I wasn't cool enough to customize back then.

I think the pizza pocket was my 2nd favorite.

(not counting CHILI AND CINNAMON ROLL DAY OBV)

Shoo. Glad you included the part in parentheses because nothing beats chili and cinnamon roll day at USD 353.

wow a quick parsing of my access database is revealing that  brothers in arms mocat and wacky are getting absolutely annihilated by these data. I haven't seen anyone else speak out against CFS, so the other 2 votes must be their repulsive socks.
