Let’s talk instrument clusters. Anyone else prefer old-school style meters for speed, gas etc.? Not a big fan of giant screens in the dash in the first place. Even worse when the cluster is a giant screen as well.
I like the cluster on my 2018 Escape. Old school mixed with a digital display in the center.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

How big is the center? I don’t need a 19” screen in my goddamn dash.

It doesn't dominate in my opinion. Can change the display to see fuel economy, tripometer, etc. I keep it on speed.

you know what are annoying? all of those roof racks that every single vehicle has these days. you've never put anything up there in your life Gary and you never will. you're not fooling anyone.

Look at this clown who has clearly never taken his kayak out on the bayou to eat crawfish and listen to Big Sam’s Funky Nation play at Bayou Boogaloo lmao

He just drags the kayak out the backdoor to the retention pond.

Also on that note I have never understood the not putting miles on your new vehicle. My brother in law has a GLS and rents an SUV when they take road trips to like Colorado. You bought that thing to drive. Not to save. It’s not a Mike Trout rookie card.
Does he lease? That seems insane otherwise

Hey SD!  Not everyone gets the largest vehicle known to man and has room to shove a kayak, mountain bike, batting cage, and peloton inside while still having room for the entire starting infield.

I ordered a 2022 Yukon Denali. I figure if I'm going to buy one more all gas vehicle I may as well make it one that gets the minimum MPG possible. 2-6 months to get it so gonna be awhile. Got $32k for my 2017 Armada which currently has 51k miles with the agreement I'm obviously going to put more miles on it in the coming months which seems fine. Having to pay MSRP on a sled feels bad but what can you do right now.

Ha just paid MSRP too. Will you take this? No. How about this? No. What about this? No. So, that is the price huh? Yes. Ok, it looks like you are charging a $500 dealer fee. Yes, we have to charge that. Ok, how about we take that off? We can't, as I said, we have to charge that. Ok, but you could reduce the price by $500 and it will be like taking it off, but you can still charge your fee. Yes, we could do that, but we aren't going to, if you don't want the car at this price, someone else will by the end of the day. DEAL!!!!  :shakesfist:

i bought a 3 year old vehicle in 2019 with just under 40k miles. now two years later it's 5 years old and has 70k miles, and i'm fairly certain i could trade it in for more than what i paid

Yep. My Escape would be purchased from me for what I paid on 2019.

I probably should sell my car and replace it with the cheapest of cheap cars that matches how little I drive or just have no car.
