Reserved a new Corolla. Same thing on MSRP. It might be here as early as next week since they were already allocated it. I asked if they’d give me a bump on trading in the 2009 Corolla with 260,000 miles. They said “if the person in charge of that is in a good mood, you might get $500.”

Going to keep the old Corolla for a few months for driving back/forth to football games then I might see if I can get $1,000. Probably just donate it to a mechanic in town that goes through donated cars, puts donated tires on them & gives them to a women’s shelter for women trying to get back on their feet by themselves & need transportation. It runs fine, just decided to get ahead of it before it breaks down/needs new tires.

You, sir, are a prince.

Welp. read news of chip shortage ending soon.  If you're planning on buying a '21 model, they are about to get cheap.  Dealers will be flooded with vehicles in the next couple of months.

Sexy little minx
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

My 2007 Honda’s ceiling upholstery has started to turn in to drapes for the rear window.  I utilized some duct tape today.

My dad used to drive an old Chevy Celebrity that developed this accessory. He used a bunch of strategically placed thumbtacks.

Where did you read this?  Every article I have read recently is saying the exact opposite, and that dealerships are limiting their output by hundreds of thousands due to the shortage.  Most reports are saying chip shortage will last at least another year.

It was in google news I read.  Seems they negotiated a new contract which will provide chips for installation in the already produced stock in storage starting in Nov. and should to completed before January.

That's a nice feeling.  My Dad's Tacoma turns 20 this year, and still running well, but he has probably 225K on his.
