I am deeply concerned.  Thanks in advance for your answer.

We are one step away from rabbit ears.  I see them coming soon.

Really looking forward to the first awkward moment when ku fans do the "rip his rough ridin' head off" thing and Gill calls a timeout to stare them down.

Just pray (haha, get it) that you never see Gill wearing a cowboy hat.  You guys are still fracked though.

This is interesting...

Does anyone have a link...transcript or video?
You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

What were they pledging to do, or not do?

http://www2.kusports.com/news/2010/apr/12/kus-gill-lead-pledge-against-drugs/

Although he has had his hands full with football so far, Kansas University football coach Turner Gill has found plenty of ways to demonstrate how important community is to him.

KU officials announced recently that during halftime of the Jayhawks’ April 24 Spring Game, Gill plans to lead a group of youths and their parents in a pledge against the use of drugs.

In a letter sent to all of Lawrence’s elementary schools last week, Gill wrote: “I want you to know that we teach our players what you are learning in your health and science classes at school — drugs are not fun and they can harm you, your friends and your family. Together, we can all take the pledge and promise to live a drug-free lifestyle.”

The reading of the pledge, which can be obtained upon entering Memorial Stadium the day of the game, will be led by Gill and senior defensive back Chris Harris.

In addition, the first 500 youths who arrive can pick up a “Drug-Free Jayhawk” bracelet and the first 5,000 fans will receive a free T-shirt.

Becoming evident that when coaches do things (pledges, read a lot of books, etc) other than focus on coaching, they're in over their cowboy hat.

How does Gill justify working for Lew?

And do we have a nickname for Gill yet? Or is he THAT much of a non-threat?

This really is going to be fantastic.  Looking forward to the free tickets to Memorial (dump track around the field) Stadium like the good ol' days.   :ksu:

I can't wait until we outnumber them in their own stadium (again) and rip their goalposts down.

Then it should be followed by copious amounts of vandalism.  Setting fires to cars, couches, trees, etc.

Agreed.  I'm just up for burning other people's couches.
