Central Kansas starts at Junction and goes to Russell. North central stats at Salina. In pioneer days, in eastern KS you could find leaves to use after a wild land crap, central KS you used grass, out west you used tumbleweeds or cocklebur bushes. This is why they are so tough.

In today's medical age, broken limbs are weird. Right about knee/ankle level. Also eye hernias.
