An alliance is better than a mega conference for recruiting, would much rather play UT, ATM, OU and OSU (not to mention TT & BU) every year for recruiting exposure than the possibility of only 1 game in TX and 1 game in SoCal (USC, UCLA) most years as TX, SoCal and OK are easily the three best states for recruits.

In 201? when a 2nd tier TX kid has a NU, MU and KSU offers on signing day, I want us to point out the 2 to 3 times a year his peeps can see him play vs the rust belt roadies in the B10.

Thing is OSU has nothing to worry about really . . . thanks to the T. Boone they'll be in the mix of any BCS realignment.   I know, I know you can use all the Tigerboard/Tardville talk about TV sets against them, but when you're a school that has a football stadium named T. Boone Pickens Stadium, and you've spent a couple of hundred million on athletic facilities in the last 8 years, than you have a level of significance.

See, that goes back to what a small cadre of posters in Powertardville were saying 6,7,8 years ago . . . and of course that cadre was saying that you didn't need T. Boone Pickens level of money either.  

Oh well . . . sometimes it's not easy being really smart.
