It also looks like ND will be treated as a member of the ACC when it comes bowl selection time, outside of the Orange Bowl. I'm basing this off the Jack Swarbrick quote, "join in the ACC's non-BCS bowl package". Solved their bowl problem. They have access to all the lower tier bowls they need, but in the chance they make it to a BCS bowl they get to keep all that money to themselves.

ACC will still be picking grounds for the SEC. The money difference is too much. Even a large buyout won't stop teams from moving. The ACC is still a diluted (basketball first) conference. I don't see this fixing FSU's problems. If anything, keeps FSU from getting to a good bowl because of the Notre Dame clause.

Unless they feel like 14 sucks so much they feel forced to go to 16. Media will continue to talk 16 as well.
