Quote from: EMAWmeister on October 04, 2011, 09:14:22 PMHonestly, why cant the IBA host the tourney? It's 3 hours away from 4 of the 8 remaining schools, which is more than Dallas can say. Maybe a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) point, but it's a brand new arena in a fairly central location. What is the IBA?

Consider me among those would be shocked beyond belief if Wichita Kansas got the Big 12 tournament.

OK came back and tried to play it off as they wanted to stay the whole time and now everyone has to play by their rules. MU calls bullshit.Missouri is playing hardball, and they are much more likely to leave.Basically, they have the leverage OU never had.what leverage does mizzou have that OU didn't? The big 12 is more stable now. This is a bluff. It's a line in a sand.

If we're not going to have the tournament in Dallas at the center, then it should be in OKC or KC.GOMF with this Wichita bullshit. (no offense trim, etc.)

(no offense trim, etc.)AA center is absolutely terrible for the B12 tourney. Just completely crap tier. I'll be the first to admit that the state of Texas should not host the conference basketball tournament under any circumstances. Texans do not care about college basketball.

And a clarification: I'm a Mavs fan and I love the AA center as a facility. But it shouldn't have the B12 tournament, and anyone who disagrees is basically wearing a squawk costume RIGHT NOW

Bricktown is sweet. Plus I'd bet the cops there aren't complete dicks.
For all of goEMAW, the best place the tournament could possibly be would be IBA.
