Well, Jack Harry acted like a complete jackass to Currie in his interview.

I actually enjoyed seeing Currie have to respond to that.  I acknowledge that Currie is good at his job, but I also believe him to be a an bad person...an bad person with one foot out the door.  He'd leave us right now if he had a decent offer, IMO.

If Currie is going to leave, I hope he leaves now.  I don't think Bill is ready to give up FB yet, he has 2-3 years left.  My biggest fear is Currie leaves about the same time Bill is done, and all the tucks try to put Bill in the AD spot.  At that point FB is basically screwed until Bill croaks because our HC will either be Sean, Cosh, or Dimel.  Either Currie leaves now or stays long enough to hire the next FB coach.  I doubt he sticks around that long.

If Bill's our AD, he'll bring his friend Urban Meyer out of retirement to coach here. It's a scheme he's been working on since he came out of retirement.

Look at the capacity of the buildings they have used in the past.  Also when looking at tournament attendance figures for men or women you should look at session attendance not individual game attendance.  The average session attendance in OKC was nearly 6000.  I'm not saying that the women's tournament should be in a 10,000 seat arena, but having it in a 5000 seat arena clearly caps possible additional revenue.  The conference shouldn't limit the amount of money they can make because dudes think they should play the games at OJ Watson Park.

Also worth noting that the Big 12 women's tournament always does better in OKC and Dallas than in KC and is the reason why they should move the women's tournament away from the men.  Having them in the same place has not benefited either tournament, I have no idea why anyone thinks this could possibly help the women's tournament.
