I can't remember who said it, but someone tweeted that they were optimistic MU would stay in the Big 12.

Also, Pete Thamel spoke with Jim Delany at length last night, and he said the Big Ten is not expanding any time soon.

I don't see us winning the round robin Big 12 next year. I could see us beating an OU, UT, A&M, etc but not winning 8 league games, which you probably need to win the confy.

I think the sticking point will end up being how we handle Tier 3 money. Do we really use the 'pool' system? I don't see how that flies for Texas, but who knows?

This is a 'duh' moment that we knew was coming. I'm not sure it resolves anything.

He's right, though. We knew this was coming. This isn't Missouri's concern. They've got some serious Pinkel butt hurt over the LHN.

My guess is that there's an element of truth to what someone said Bob Strawn posted earlier. BlackCats on BOTC said the same thing. There is a desire out there for portions of Tier 3 revenue to go into a pool for equal distribution. They think it will take some of the bite out of the LHN.

The whole Tier 3 thing is so Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) to me. Just don't let them have HS ball on it, and then get the eff out the way.

It is the ultimate "I wish I was as good as them" butt hurt. Not like MU or anyone else has contributed a damn thing to making TX something that would sell a lot of Tier 3 content, so why should Mu or anyone else get any of it?

If the conf wants to remain butt hurt, just don't play on their network w/o getting paid.

Shouldn't be hard.
