TX board suggesting UT, MU, Pitt and ND to Big 10
Quote from: steve dave on September 06, 2011, 07:05:45 PMTX board suggesting UT, MU, Pitt and ND to Big 10I don't think the Big 10 wants Pitt. Why wouldn't they just add UT and ND?
Let's say TX decides to go to the Big 10 (it's up to them, any conference would bend over for them) how long until Texas takes over the reigns of the conference from Ohio State? I bet it's second year.

Texas joining the big 10 would not phase NU at all. They didn't leave the big 12 because of texas. They left because they are selfish, whoreish assholes.
If Texas joins the Big 10 I see another "Better academic fit" on Cornhole's horizon.

gkketch Geoff Ketchum Bottom line - give up that network and you get punked/lose the juice... HOWEVER... pride and money could cost all allies and friends6 hours ago »
gkketch Geoff Ketchum This Big 12 stuff is fascinating. The question is will Texas flinch at all?6 hours ago
I just can't see ND joining the big 10. I could see Texas and Notre Dame forming their own new conference that plucks teams from the big 10, though.Something like:TexasNotre DamePittOhio StateMichiganUSCUCLAOU
yeah, TX could do that if they wanted to. probably more work than they are interested in though.
