I rather have FedEx invest $500 million in buying out Arizona and ASU's GOR so they can join the Big12. Memphis can come if they can make that deal happen.

I don't really believe we have a real shot at stealing another P5 school, even if GORs didn't exist. But if we're going to entertain it, I'd still prefer to try to lop the head off the ACC and steal FSU, Clemson, and whatever 4 they want to bring along. Basically just a little re-shuffling to what becomes two 8 team conferences that have a championship game. FSU and Clemson would still get to play every team they give a crap about. We do too. Newcomers WVU and TCU go to the east. Done deal. ACC is the new Big East. We're solidly a Top 3 Conference, if not just behind the SEC at #2.

I solved it, guys. Grab Arizona and Arizona State, Colorado and Colorado State, and eff it, New Mexico. Drop WVU and call it the Southwest Conference, rival of the SEC.

Even when it was the Pac 10, they felt spurned by the original 8 on a regular basis.

Also, with them not observing daylight savings time, they are in the mountain time zone for a big chunk of the academic year.
