KMAN broke down realignment yesterday on The Game.  I don't know the two guys on there, but one was concerned with Iowa St leaving to the Big 10 and Tech going to the Pac 12.

my i-arc for icat started my soph year (transferred into Kats U at spring semester) and registration was in ahearn.  there was a separate line for icat tix.  so then i got in the line and paid my i-$20 and boom, t-shirt and tix.  then, i don't really remember much beyond that.  got a job at dean liquor and then worked at rusty's for a summer tending bar and then 12th St pub and then boom, used to hang at RAB on fridays and auntie mae's on saturdays and yikes, then would go to lunch a lot at aggieville pizza hut b/c great lunch special.  then boom had a good time and saw garth brooks at bramlage.

Tech to the Pac 12 is laughable but Iowa State is absolutely a Big 10 school in damn near every way possible. They even have the capability to immediately add D1 hockey as they already have a club team and hockey arena.

 Pac 12 by far. The SEC would be a terrible fit for K-State (see mizzou). The Big 10 would never take us, and the ACC if they took us, would probably be in a scenario where it is this frankenstein conference that would make most of us hate what college sports has become even more than we do now.

Can we just drop the a bomb on the state of Oklahoma? It seems like these idiots are bent because we don't get as much tier 3 money as the SEC, well no crap. Bowlsby's line about the gap only getting bigger is horse crap too. If the SEC deal was up this year there is simply no way they would get as big of a deal. I don't understand why these morons can't acknowledge that the SEC got very lucky with a championship run and then made a media rights deal right before the bubble burst?

The schools in this conference is doing very well with tier 3 money. I can't stand Jake Trotter's coverage of this because its clear he's a Boren mouthpiece, but bravo for him for finally talking about the crap the Pac 12 is in. I mean some best writer in Tuscon talked about this months ago, good to see Trotter finally catching wind.

Can Boren just leave already?

How do you know that we aren't? I am fairly certain that the conference has had communication, there's certainly been some smoke. I'm still not sure they would add the requisite value to the media contract to prevent the current 10 from losing money.
