everything all the old people said is true. used to be I contributed a twenty. then I contributed a thirty. also they did used to sell out during enrollment like pan said. good luck getting icat if you were a freshman in 1998. you couldn't.

ICAT was awesome because you could tailgate and roll in whenever with the guarantee of a good seat.  I remember sitting in some godawful seats for the 2000 NU game.

I bought my tickets way late my freshman year (my roommate suggested I buy some) and basically sat in the visitors section that year.  Nebraska fans and the OU band were the worst.

I think I was in ICA$20 the rest of my years.

Back in my freshman year of 1995 ICAT stood for I Contributed a ha'penny.  We substituted T there because it was a tradition carried over from the old country where they used tortoise shells for currency.

Pro tip: Total bosses don't buy Icat. They PAK their faces off till 5 minutes before kickoff and have other students reserve their spot in the front row of GA, because they want to be on TV with the guy painted up as "Silly Willy".

I remember signing up for ICAT once at the stadium before a game. They had a folding table set up. The line wasn't too terribly long, I don't think. It was on the east side of the stadium, which makes sense since that's where the student section is. Anyway, you just wrote your name on the list, paid your money, and they gave you the t-shirt right then and there. Maybe you also had to show your tickets. Not sure. What are everyone else's experiences with ICAT registration?

my arc as an icat section seater went like this. I never did it. we would pak like mad and watch college football at a friends place that lived by the stadium and then we would all walk to the stadium right before kickoff and sit in the back of the non permanent bleacher under the scoreboard in the southwest corner. probably a group of ten to fifteen of us but even in the great years -98-'01, there was enough room for forty people so we could all spread out. sitting in the middle of a group of other students all crammed together and acting like idiots always sounded gross and degrading.
