The 5-hearts in KS can't prop up 2 FBS programs let alone 3.

Is 8 that number most years? My point is right now college football is a national audience in the regular season with the 4 team playoff. Would 8 teams make it more into a regional audience? Would 6 teams and a bye preserve the national part?
Any system with byes are not the best system.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Byes will be worse because whichever team is 3 and not 2 will get effed in having to play an extra game, and the rankings/seedings will be subjective like today. NFL is garbage, and i'm not surprised a guy named buckwheat is a huge fan.

I actually think byes is the best way, there should be a reward for a team that conquers a better season than a team like USC in your previous example.

comparing FCS to FBS is pretty dumb
8 team playoff is more fun.

Hearing rumblings of Mizzou and Arkansas. It seems unlikely to me, too. But: source = "not too shabby."
