We should stand pat and wait until we can pull ACC schools. This may be a pipe dream, but adding Cincinnati, Memphis, CSU, BYU, etc. adds no value. Not worth it.

This. An ACC team will have to go undefeated to make the playoff in most scenarios over the next few years. It may be a while before another one gets in, as FSU is losing Jameis after this season and I don't see anyone else capable of running the table.

I'm not sure I want BYU, but this guy makes interesting points. He basically says we should add BYU in football only, and since they have a TV deal with ESPN right now, they wouldn't need any TV money from the Big 12 until we renegotiated the contract in 2024.
