They are better than Michigan, Penn State, Indiana, Rutgers, and Illinois. I could see the merits of taking a second team from the SEC over TCU or Baylor, but this OSU team is just not very good.

I mean look at this cluster eff.  How many people a short time ago were all happy about the 10 team conference only looking at the TV money.  Others were lamenting not signing Louisville when they were begging to get in and FSU was looking to step out.  We need to get leadership in here tomorrow that is willing to push the Big 12 forward into what is obviously becoming a new era in college sports.  Everyone talking about adding SMU, BYU (maybe as a partial, but eff them seriously), Tulane and Memphis should check their post history to see where they sat on lonely Red Bird and the Zombienoles.

Crazy idea:

Invite Boise and BYU as FB only members.  9 game schedule.  Boise and BYU can cut their own deals with ESPN for home games.  Current Big12 keeps their TV contract.  Same number of home conference available for content now (45) as under new deal.  If either makes champ game they get $2mm.  Make Sugar or other NYE get another $2mm.
