Anyone else get the dream where you forgot about a class for pretty much the whole semester and then you scramble right at the end to try and pass but it's too late? Yeah, those come on strong this time of year.

I used to get those alot, I would always panic and then have to remind myself I had already graduated.

Yeah, had that exact dream many years after I had graduated.

ME too! must be some kind of syndrome

We've had this discussion people.  Granted it was in the wrong thread.  Still buncha lukes.

It's not a luke while you are in a thread that doesn't have anything to do with last night's dreams and we are talking about last night's dreams in the last night's dream thread.

Also, maybe get some rough ridin' priorities and be a little more dedicated to your BBS and then I wouldn't have to link stuff like this.

Oh I remembered reading it, and was half sure it was in this thread, but I was on my phone and didn't really care to check.

I've had that dream where I skipped class a lot, but last night I one upped that. I was a surgeon who was getting ready to perform his first surgery, but I had no recollection of studying or going to med school or anything.

I was trying to think back to what I had learned in all the Scrubs episodes I've watched.

Had a pretty mumped up nightmare a couple nights ago.  I was living back in MHK with numerous roommates.  One was a dude I actually lived with back in the day.  One was a chick who bartends at a bar locally and I'm pretty sure has zero real life connections with anyone in the dream but me.  Also, I shared a room with a black dude in a wheelchair.  (No idea who that guy is.)  Anyhoo, we're all smoking weed and watching PeeWee football on TV.  One little kid was returning a kickoff and got caught by a pitbull who was chained on the sideline but had a chain that was long enough to reach out onto the field a bit.  He escaped and then another, smaller kid came over to calm the dog down.  I felt like that was his or his family's dog and was thus familar with the dog.  Then all hell broke loose and another pitbull (also on a long chain) got in the mix and the 2 dogs started tearing that little kid apart.  It was like watching crocodiles eating prey.  Really disturbing stuff.  We're all screamin at the TV.  A mixture of "why isn't anyone helping that kid" and "why are they showing this on TV?  Turn the rough ridin' camera off!" type of stuff.  I woke up about this time and obviously realized it was just a dream but I still felt all mumped up inside, like I had actually seen that happen in real life.  mumped up crap dude.  The stuff in Connecticut a few days after that didn't help my mood out much, to say the least.

Last night's dream was pretty cool. I dreamed that I was having a dream that had absolutely no chance to be subjected to any psychiatric evaluation or interpretation. That made me feel good.

Fell asleep on the couch and my relatives were talking in the next room loud enough for me to hear and incorporate them into my dreams.  Love when that happens.  Don't remember what exactly the dream was about, but I remember my mom and aunt being in it and talking about the same thing they were discussing when I woke up.

Had a dream last night that the apocalypse was actually happening. Was at a friend's house, we looked outside and the sky was all red and it looked like a big meteor shower. Turned on the news and everyone was freaking out. People started calling loved ones and everything. We went to the basement and I called my wife to make sure she was doing the same. Then a small meteor, the size of a charcoal, came flying in the window and landed right next to my friend's foot. I yelled, "KICK IT!". He did, and we were saved. We were some of only a handful of people that survived.

fwiw if you are remembering much of anything about your dreams you have a potentially serious mental problem.  your brain should be able to erase this stuff if you are getting restful sleep.  it's programmed to do so.  there is something wrong in your head if you are retaining much of what you dream.

source:  I know a LOT about this stuff
Sounds like what I would say if I didn't remember my dreams like a toal stud.

I had a dream last night that I was complaining to everyone that the song "How You Remind Me" by Nickleback was stuck in my head and I couldn't get rid of it. Then, on my way to work today "How You Remind Me" came on the radio. And I normally would have changed the station but I didn't because I was expecting something crazy to happen.

My favorite dreams are the ones on Saturday morning when I forget to turn the alarm off. I go right back to sleep and get back into the dream knowing it's a dream, and then I can control pretty much everything that happens and I really accomplish some badass crap in those dreams.

Had a pretty great dream last night. Went to Disney World for michigancat's sister's wedding (I know michigancat's future bro-in-law). So I was hanging out there with my wife and waiting for michigancat to show up so we could kick it. Well, low and behold Rick Daris and his wife were there too. Not for the wedding, just because they were taking their kids to Disney World. So we get to the resort thinking about how great of a pak wedding this is going to be and Kat Kid and Mrs. Kat Kid are there. Not sure why, they left Kat Kid Kid back in Manhattan, and he's not old enough to enjoy it anyway. So I turn to Kat Kid and say, "Well this is mother f**king chicagoPAK all over again!" and we both just die laughing. Then I woke up.

Not that crazy of a dream, but it was pretty cool that it had a bunch of goEMAW guys in it. Except then I saw Mrs. Kat Kid IRL today so I thought I absolutely had to post this crazy occurrence.

I've been fooling around with Zzzquil these last few nights while I'm still at my parents house, and the dreams have been wildly vivid bad dreams.

Think I'm done with the Zzzquil.

I've never been able to do this. The closest I got was one time in a dream I thought maybe it was a dream so I thought about it and came to the conclusion that it was real life. Then I woke up and got super pissed at my Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) sleep brain.

Dream Question:

I graduated from KSU in 2006.  How many more years of having the "holy crap I have had a class all semester I forgot to go to and I can't drop it and I'm going to flunk so now I can't graduate" dream can I expect?

Kinda tired of the freak out about school dream.

Only dream worse is the dream in which KSU finds out you shouldn't have graduated. "Someone" finds evidence of that in a trash can at Dillon's and gives it to Currie. KSU is forced to revoke your degree for the good of the school. Your employer finds out you don't have the degree you claimed to have and fires you. Your application for readmission to KSU is rejected. Your only option is KU. What do you do?
