If you like health science stuff, Peter Attia is a great show.

I started reading his work back in 2010 or so. Was really glad he started a podcast. Thoroughly enjoyed his latest episode with Gary Taubes.

Enjoy the new Shea Serrano and Brandon Jenkins pod “No Skips” - deep dive into one hip hop album per episode. So far I’ve listened to episodes on Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, Hard Core, and Tha Carter III. All very enjoyable.

Finished Supernova in the East while I was mowing the yard yest.

At the end of the 'cast, Dan mentioned that he has been involved with creating the immersive WW1 experience at the National WW1 Museum / Liberty Memorial in Kansas City. Has anybody gone through this since they installed this? Dan says there are massive speakers that make it feel like you are living thru an artillery barrage on the Western Front. It has been about 10 years or so since I went thru the museum. Sounds like I may need to go back.
It’s pretty much sold out through the summer. But it has a permanent home in kc now!

Is it a tenderfoot production?

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

This one can be a lot of fun depending on the album. The 50 Cent one was really great.

i have enjoyed a few episodes of Bandsplain. it's a fun deep dive of music artists, usually with a guest music critic from rolling stone or whatever. a few full length songs are sprinkled in. i listened to cocteau twins, ween, blink 182, and metallica. the host is extremely genX (nearly constant stream of "totally" and "babe") but is pretty good!

i listened to the entire thing yesterday on my way to and from PHILLIPSBURG, Kansas.

The Haitian Revolution stuff is fascinating.  Made me want to watch a Tarantino movie about it.

Is he putting out Common Sense episodes again? He stopped for a while, so I stopped checking for them.

Few more inspiring tales than Touissant and the Haitian jacobins.

Few more sad stories than how Haiti was treated by major powers thereafter.

I've only been listening to episodes of the Dollop where the subject intrigues me lately and the most recent one is the front half of a Steven Seagal two-parter.  I highly recommend.

I randomly picked up radiolab for the first time in months yesterday and listened to it.  Great story.
