The price of the ceasefire appears to be Greater Israel--Israel is now occupying and planning to annex additional land from Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, the entire West Bank. Next stop the Euphrates?

Wouldn’t ya know it, Israel is going to keep occupying some new land adjacent to the land they’ve been occupying since 1967 and illegally annexed in 1981. Sorry, couldn’t be avoided.

Israel initially cast its incursion into a previously demilitarised buffer zone inside Syria as a temporary move to prevent hostile forces moving into the area in the power vacuum left by the collapse of Assad’s dictatorship in December.

But visiting the Syrian side of Mount Hermon on Tuesday, Israel Katz said Israeli forces would remain “on the summit of Hermon and in the security zone for an unlimited time to ensure the security of the Golan Heights and northern settlements and all residents of the State of Israel”.

Israel: we’re going to do whatever the hell we want.

USA: ok
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Not great - but better than being under constant bombardment for over a year while a feckless-rudderless US diplomatic community gets virtually nothing accomplished besides watching more planes of US made weapons land in Tel Aviv and points beyond.

I hope Donald Bonaparte takes a look at the Gaza Strip for a phase 2 conquest.

I called this early several times with no comments from anyone.  Consider me the "Nostrastonus" of this board.  :fistpump:

The 'Maga Strip'....  just rolls off the tongue..
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

The fact I was saying it in jest and now seeing in person that it could happen is very f'd up to me.  Some of my other 'dumb posts' I've wanted to share I will now keep to myself..  :ohno: :ohno:

"The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too. We'll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site, and get rid of the destroyed buildings, level it out, create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area," Trump said

They spent 18 months getting 2,000 pound bombs made in the United States dropped on them.

You are suggesting that the illegal removal of all Palestinians from Gaza is a positive outcome?

Luck is just in total meltdown mode right now

It’s very sad.

The worst part is . . . He cannot admit that the previous administration only fueled and facilitated the demise of Gaza.
