Don Trump and Steve Witkoff - doin work!!

A "tense" weekend meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and incoming Mideast envoy Steve Witkoff led to a breakthrough in the hostage negotiations, with the top aide to US President-elect Donald Trump doing more to sway the premier in a single sit-down than outgoing President Joe Biden did all year, two Arab officials told The Times of Israel on Tuesday.

Witkoff has been in Doha for the past week to take part in the hostage negotiations, as mediators try to secure a deal before Trump’s January 20 inauguration. On Saturday, Witkoff flew to Israel for a meeting with Netanyahu at the premier’s Jerusalem office.

During the meeting, Witkoff urged Netanyahu to accept key compromises necessary for an agreement, the two Arab officials on Monday told The Times of Israel on condition of anonymity. Neither Witkoff nor Netanyahu’s office responded to requests for comment.

Feel bad for anyone who is in the running for the Nobel Peace Prize now.  Playing for second place.

Definitely a lock for the medal of freedom that are so hard to get.  Also, curious if this will make it easier or harder for Trump to conquer and rename the "Maga Strip" in his overall quest for world domination?
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Utter incompetence for years . . . now trying to take the credit from others on the way out the door.

So very very onbrand.

On a common ground theme the medal thing was hilariously silly.  The maga version is going to be amazing.  Loomer, catturd, amuse, the qman shaman, kid rock

Huge shout out to Don Trump - Peacemaker, getting done in 10 days, what Jill/Joe/Blinks couldn't get done in 465 days.

Oh but ya see . . . we had something on the table, ya see.  Didn't sign, but it's definitely on the table.

Not gEing here, I’m honestly kinda jealous of Dax the way he can just convince himself of whatever he wants to believe, completely unhindered by logic or facts.

Although I suppose the monkey paw aspect of it is that he also uses this power to get mad about the most unhinged crap. And he’s like, a true believer.

Maybe that’s the rub, you can’t live in fantasy heaven without also living in  fantasy hell

He doesn't really believe anything, he's just a contrarian.

They're openly discussing how the presence of Trump's appointed envoy helped move the needle at a massive level, and still, BAC wants to be mad about it.

We have every shred of evidence showing that Bidens-Blinks were utterly ineffective over the course of 1.5 years at truly moving the needle to get this deal in front of the respective approval bodies.

How many trips to the ME/Israel did Blinks take that resulted in absolutely nothing being resolved except for more arms being shipped to Israel?  At least 8 to 10 that I am aware of.

There is nothing contrarian about it . . . my lawd

Only doing this because there's some hurdles to get over . . . while completely avoiding the fact that his guys had a year and a half to get this close and failed miserably

I suppose when you need to make yourself feel better about the utter ineffectiveness of your guy . . . these are the kinds of things you post.

So far only 71 Palestinians (including 19 children and 24 women) via Israeli air strikes since the cease fire. Bang up job by the trump administration. Almost made it a whole day without killing several dozen women and children!

And Hedgseth is openly speaking of his cream dreams over the Temple Mount.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Definitely LOW odds of Trump having “less war” than Biden at the moment.
