Had torn rotator cuff surgery this morning. Posting left handed. I'm currently at the stage where the drugs are starting to wear off and I feel super weird. My right hand is still completely numb 8 hours later, presumably from the blocker.
Time for the stranger it sounds like

Get well soon mir
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

For the surgery, no idea outside of the blocker. Post surgery I have ketorolac and tramadol. I told my surgeon I didn't want hydro/oxycodone because I had one of them when I had ankle surgery in 2019 and it didn't work at all and for 24 hours, I was completely miserable.

I will say when I had ankle surgery, whatever they gave me wore off as soon as I got home. Whatever they gave me at the surgery center is still going strong now nearly 10 hours later. I do wish my right hand wasn't still numb though.

I tried to time it so that I wouldn't miss a home game and be ready to fry my bird. I could have done it in October but I had just started a new job in mid September.

Shoulder surgery is the worst.  Pain is horrible and recovery/sleeping like crap for an extended period of time sucks.  I hope I can keep my other one in good enough shape that I don't need to get it cut on too.  If you are not going to sleep in a recliner, get one of those ramp pillows for your bed.

X here's to a quick recovery. Do the therapy, man.  Power thru the pain.

I've had a hip and a shoulder replaced.  Quality of life 1000% improved.

Hopefully, I can outlive both joints useful life of 20-25 years.

Thanks for the wishes Tom, but I had my shoulder worked on about 8 years ago.  I too am also in the new hip club and I will say that recovery was a breeze.
