Kit Harington cut his hair.  :frown:
Hope the books and show vary widely quickly, then.  really thought I had the book figured out with him and was pretty excited about it.

What is it that you thought you had figured out?

I think it is ok to post any insight you may have gained from reading the books since the thread title indicates this thread is for people who like the show and the books.

Mrs. G, have you read the Rogue Prince yet?  I remember you saying you read The Princess and the Queen on a scale of 1 to 5 lemon cakes, how many would you rate it?

No, I haven't read the Rogue Prince. I only read the novellas when I can find them at the library...so I just put a hold request on that one.

The Princess and the Queen was pretty good. I give it 4 lemon cakes.

Go take your speculations on who is the next death to the show only thread so we can ridicule you in this thread.

I think it is ok to post any insight you may have gained from reading the books since the thread title indicates this thread is for people who like the show and the books.

I think we have discussed it in the other thread, but I thought Jon was the red lady's new horse and she planned to resolve the issue that jon had last we read about him and help him rise.  Also, that he was a targaryenn and that the story would bend him and Dany together and against the powers that be

Yeah, I thought (or hoped at least) it would be Jon, Dany, and Aegon riding the 3 dragons. How long does it take dragons to get to ridable size?

He has a contract to not cut his hair as long as he is on the show. If he cut it then Jon Snow is dead.  :bawl:

He actually did not cut it that short.

I think he could grow it back out to Jon Snow length by the time filming for the next reason starts up.

He must have gotten permission to cut it; so it is the HBO producers who are playing us, not Kit Harington.

Yeah, it's super possible that he gets red-lady'ed and comes back with a short do, or something.

Sort-of-zombies can have shorter hair imo.  If he makes it he's going to be pretty roughed up going forward.  Could just be part of it.
