Do you think they decided to hurry Bran's story along because he is going to look like a full grown adult by the time they start filming next season?

I suppose it will be a lot easier to mask that with him hooked up to a tree. I wish they would Blood Raven correctly. Do you think that was a CGI budget issue or a don't disturb show only people thing?

I'm acquiring the armenian version of Rogues as we speak. I will report back once I have read it.

I think they didn't want him to be too weird/creepy.

When he said that he sees with a thousand eyes and one...Do the show people get that? Was there any reference to that in the show? Was it even mentioned in the main books? Seems like I only remember it from Dunk & Egg.

That easter egg was for people who have read the Dunk & Egg stories only.

I also noticed at least two references to Ser Duncan the Tall in the first season.

I have no idea what you're talking about, I've read 400 pages of book 1 and Wikipedia for major points.

The Hound totally didn't die, they wouldn't have made both scenes (book and TV) so ambiguous for no reason... GRRM is just misdirecting is he says otherwise.

The Rogue Prince is probably GRRM's shortest novella yet. It is a prequel, of sorts, to The Princess and The Queen. It describes Daemon Targaryen's role creating the rivalries that led to The Dance of Dragons. It's pretty short. I didn't find it to be that enjoyable of a read.

It's never explicitly stated, but they get to the cave and you never read about him again, then Bran eats this paste stuff that looks like it has blood in it and he ends up with the green sight.

I don't think Arya is yet to the point where she can kill out of anything but blind hate or true self-defense, therefore she didn't have the guts to kill the Hound.   :th_twocents:

Wrong.

Compelling argument.

Arya specifically chose not to kill the Hound; it wasn't because she couldn't do it.

I'm just going off the books. Even with the benefit of a character's inner monologue, her motivations are far from clear, so it's certainly not a black/white issue, especially since Arya isn't very consistent with her actions as it is.  Later, she realizes she has no monies and regrets not killing him and robbing him.
My winning smile and can-do attitude.

Hope the books and show vary widely quickly, then.  really thought I had the book figured out with him and was pretty excited about it.
