Toward the end of season 2, it's where CJ mentions having seen Abbey treat Bartlet for his MS:
C.J.:
Abbey... [sits on couch] During the campaign, we were in Manhattan, Kansas, at a Sheraton, or a Marriott, I can't remember, but we were in Manhattan, Kansas... And I came to your suite early to tell you we'd be doing Nightline that night and we had to get to an ABC affiliate. And I think by then the two of you were so used to people walking
in and out of your room that you didn't hear me open the door. And I was almost sure
I saw you giving the President an injection of something.
CJ was obviously confused and meant a Holiday Inn or a Ramada.
I think there was a SportsNight reference, too, but having trouble locating it right now.
A few days behind but... I didn't find Manhattan reference, but found this:
